Why I became a chiropractor
I decided to become a Chiropractor in Lakewood because my wife and I loved the idea of being close to the mountains but also close to Denver. Dr. Alysha and I had always dreamed of working together in a clinic that incorporated chiropractic and physical therapy and Lakewood gave us the opportunity to make that dream come true. Lakewood had a great small-town feel and that made us fall in love with it. We look forward to keeping Lakewood healthy as we strive to be the best chiropractic and best physical therapy facility in town.

Common chiropractic misconceptions
Some common misconceptions that people have about chiropractic in Lakewood are that we only treat someone who has neck pain or back pain. But as a sports chiropractor, we can treat everything from an elbow injury to an ankle injury. We look at the whole body to find out what's actually causing your pain and not just where you're hurting. Another misconception is that once you start seeing a chiropractor you have to go for life or sign up for 50 visits. That's simply not true at Denver Sports Medicine. We first work with you to get you out of pain and then make sure to give you exercise programs to help keep you healthy once your treatment is done.
